So last night Greg and I were working on Resident Evil 5 and while we completed the game on Veteran we've still got a ways to go. It's been fun though. The only thing I've got issues with are the quick time events. I'm not sure how it's going to be on Professional but on Veteran it was pretty tough. We don't have any specific plans on when we're going to get back to it but it's been fun getting Greg some achievements and also working towards my game completion once I complete the campaign on Professional.
I felt like last night was a much needed break from Gears 2 Annex. It does bug me though because other than Seriously which is just basically a time commitment and the Party Like It's 1999, I'm pretty much done with the base game. Talked to Mitch a bit last night after the RE5 session and we talked about playing some more Wingman which gave us quite a bit of XP last time we did it. Maybe I'll return to Annex soon but I think it's going to be a 15 minutes to connect and if we can't I'll move on. I say that all the time but normally when I mention to move on to something else, no one really says anything so I feel like I'm by myself. Which is ok, I just need to know ahead of time that it might be just me leaving the game and that's ok.
I've not put much effort into the To-Do List challenge this month which is a bummer. I was actually hoping to get 3-4 out of 5 but right now I'm sitting at 1/5 and it's almost halfway through the month. Realisitically I can do at least 2 more but after that it's going to be challenging.
Xbox 360 Tracker:
Gears of War 2 Goals - Need to get the mansion map done for the Annex achievement. Plan on leveling by playing some Wingman and also doing some Seriously 2.0 off and on sessions.
Resident Evil 5 Goals - Professional playthrough with Greg. If this get completed I'll consider finishing off the DLC I have an determine if I'd like to buy additional DLC or just call this one complete.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Goals - Continue my single player playthrough in an effort to obtain an S ranking. Would also like to continue our co-op playthrough in an attempt to get to Professional.
Vancouver 2010 Goals - I've got a couple of challenges left to complete as well as some olympic medals and then the multiplayer. I haven't gotten to a point where I'm ready to call it but the remaining events / challenges are pretty tough in my opinion.
Gears of War 3 Goals - I'll have to look up my achievements because I'm drawing a blank right now. I do know I need quite a bit of the DLC achievements but I believe most of the base game ones are done. Horde and Beast mode seem the most likely right now.
Xbox One Tracker:
Limbo Goals - Started playing this one in an effort to complete the game. Basically I was attempting to complete the game (which is about an hour of gameplay) withouth dying 5 times. I believe I died 3 times so there was some wiggle room. Looking forward to going back to the 360 version of this game and knocking it off my backlog.
Rocket League Goals - This was free over the weekend and it was a TON of fun. I'll definitely be buying this one at some point. It's listed as $20 so if it gets below 10... it's worth it in my opinion. I've even considered buying it now.
To-Do List Tracker:
I'm currently sitting at 1/5. Planning on definitely attempting the Destiny one as well as the Turok one. Baja is going to be a stretch because I've heard it was very hard. And Dead Rising I believe will take me quite awhile to get it done so I may just skip over that one.
Until next time my friends....
