Thoughts on DLC's Empty Thoughts on DLC's

    Post by Das_Fura Sun Jun 12, 2016 8:15 pm

    Hey gang,

I usually complete all my games to the stock 1K when it comes to achievement hunting, but when I look back and see my % below 100 I get that itch to buy the DLC to finish the game off before I trade/sell it. I just cant justify paying $15 for a couple hundred points when I normally get the hard copy game for much less. And I dont think Microsoft ever runs cheap deals on the DLC either.
What thoughts do you guys have? About to finish COD:AW and not sure if I want to shell out more cash....

I'm with you in regards to DLC but this past year I've probably gotten more DLC than I have in the past 5 years. I used to be anti-DLC and my main reasoning was the cost. I can't believe that a 200 gamerscore piece of DLC should cost 15 bucks. I think the reason I've gotten more this year than in the past was because I was waiting for sales. Xbox does have some DLC sales but not enough.

I've had discussions before with different people and seems like everyone feels different about DLC and completions. I feel like if you complete the base game, it's completed. A lot of people I know don't consider it a completion until you get every last bit of gamerscore from the game. While I understand it, I still don't think it's necessary. Case in point, I'll probably finish off Resident Evil 5 but probably not get the DLC because it's expensive and it's time consuming. (so much time for little gamerscore in my mind)
