    Bean Dives Empty Bean Dives

    Post by kbeau73 Mon Jul 11, 2016 8:58 am

So I basically got talked into doing a bean dive and I've got to say, it feels pretty good getting some of these on my card. I also discovered that I enjoyed the game Dungeon Siege III. I'm probably 40% into my dive but there are definitely some games in there that I'll look forward to playing. I'm 32 games in and I've lost about 3.45 on my completion percentage. I'm thinking I'll have somewhere between 70-90 games dived. Percentage wise I'm thinking I'll lose close to 10. Once this has been completed I'm going to focus on a small handfull of games when I'm not playing co-op. Hopefully I'll have even more games in common with some of you. =)

Not sure if that was supposed to come off as sarcastic or honest but I've got to admit, I actually am excited because there are some games I've had for eons but never started and some of them are actually quite good. :p

Dark Souls was one of those games that I probably wouldn't have played if I wasn't involved in the Random To Do List on AH.

I started my Bean Dive a few days ago. I dived 31 games so far. My completion percentage has gone down 4.03 points. I decided to do a Bean Dive because I wanted my stats to be more accurate by including all my games.

I hope to dive 47 games total. I added two since my Dive started. Only 16 more to go!

I think I'm going to have more than I thought... I initially thought I'd have 65 due to my list but when I went through my physical copies, it seems like I've got more than I thought. I think there are still some other games in the entertainment center that I still haven't dug out.

Two things I discovered while doing this Bean Dive:

    • I have some games I'm REALLY looking forward to playing.
    • Looking at all these new games I have to play, Gears of War is getting stale.

I hear you on the looking forward to playing thing...

I was feeling a bit burnt out on the Gears thing but since we're so close, I keep wanting to push through. But that's my slight OCD taking over. :p

I'm pushing on with my Bean Dive. I dived 35 games so far. There are twelve more I want to dive. Sadly, it looks like I'll have to play each of them for a few hours before I'll get an achievement to pop. I'll keep working at it!

Yeah, luckily I don't believe any of them are going to be long grinds but I do have some Kinect titles which may or may not take some time. I think I'm going to be pushing somewhere around 90 or so titles.

How goes your Bean Dive? I have eight games to complete my dive. I'm slowly but surely getting there.

I was able to dive a couple of games last night. I'm basically on the "T" for my digitally downloaded games.

Off the top of my head I still have to dive the following games...

    Xbox 360
    TMNT Training Lair
    Thief
    Blue Dragon
    a Burger King game
    Turning Point
    Wreckateer
    Xcom: Enemy Within

    Xbox One
    Styx
    Strike Suit Zero
    D4: Dark Dreams Dont Die
    Child of Light
    Castlestorm (maybe)
    Massive Chalice
    So Many Me
    Metal Gear Solid V
    How To Survive
    Pnuema
    Knight Squad
    Zheroes
    Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishements
    Lords of the Fallen
    Sunset Overdrive
    Defense Grid 2
    Costume Quest 2
    Goat Simulator
    The Crew
    The Banner Saga 2
    Tumblestone
    APB Reloaded
    Battlefield Hardline
    Beyond Eyes
    Borderlands The Pre Sequel
    Call of Duty Ghosts
    Dragon Age: Inquisition
    Gears of War Ultimate Edition
    Gems of War
    Hawken
    LA Cops
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
    Need For Speed
    Pool Nation FX
    Roblox
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell
    Smite
    Sniper Elite 3
    Sunset Overdrive
    Unravel
    Warframe
    Shadows of Mordor
    Stick It To The Man

There might be another couple but I'm not totally sure. After doing this dive I think I've determined that I will not be buying another game forever. :p

To be honest I thought about cutting it off at 100 games but then thought that the whole completion % wouldn't really mean much if I didn't have all my games on my card.

I agree! You can accomplish the goal (getting all your games on your card and included in your stats) slowly over time. I have eight more games to add to my card. Some of them will require some time commitment to unlock an achievement. It might take me a couple weeks to accomplish that.

You set your own pace. Set a goal to do one a day. That will keep your streak going as well. Wink

The issue is that there are some games I'd like to play now... not in awhile. lol I haven't done much research on how long it'll take me for each game but I'm hoping there are a lot of tutorial levels. Razz

I also hope we can get back to RE 5 soon! Smile

I believe I will be on this evening so that could be arranged. Maybe once we finish this game off we set our sights on something like Saints Row?

That would be awesome. We can continue to work on our Bean Dives AND do some co-op gaming also. It's important that we mix in some fun along with the "chores". For example, this evening, the first thing I will do is unlock an easy achievement to keep my streak going. Should take 15 minutes or so. Then, if you're online, I'll hit you up for some RE5. If you're not on yet, I'll work on my Bean Dive until you're on.

I was going to say the same thing.. I'd like to unlock an achievement first unless I'm on at around 8pm. If so, I'm sure we'll unlock something during our RE5 run. I just don't want to get on at like 9 and then done by 11 and have to scavenge for an easy achievement for my bean dive.

Almost done with the good old Bean Dive...
    Sunset Overdrive
    Styx: Master of Shadows
    Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor
    Warframe
    Blue Dragon
    Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
    Thief
    Tomb Raider DE
maybe a couple others but I think that will do it.

I'm anxious to get back to that one as well. Professional difficulty should be a good challenge.

I get the impression that this Bean Dive has been an eye opening experience for you. affraid
