To-Do List, Crackdown and misc. other items of goodness! Empty To-Do List, Crackdown and misc. other items of goodness!

So let's start off with the To-Do List... it doesn't seem as my list is too difficult but a lot of the games that I got assigned I never really put much effort into so who knows what will happen once I actually start playing them. I haven't determined if I'm going to go for completion or just get to the point of the assigned achievement. I find that when I stop playing something I lose track of the gameplay and it makes it much tougher to get back into.

Another achievement that @JohnPicklewilly and I have been working on is getting the Hidden Orbs in Crackdown. I had always figured this would be a game I got back to at some point but since it was assigned to me in last month's contest and with our Annual To-Do List Challenge I figured why the heck not. It took me awhile but I finally found a good map for us to use and it came in super helpful. I wasn't feeling welll on Saturday so I decided to jump into it and shortly after I found the remaining 2 I needed. Now we've got to get JPW the achievement.

Starting playing Alice: Madness Returns and while it's not a bad game... each chapter seems entirely too long. I was finally able to knock this one off last night. I'm not sure if I plan on going for the game completion prior to moving onto the next achievement or not. This might just be a game I go back to when I'm playing single player.

Going to be playing Red Dead Redemption tonight for a couple of achievements that have been quite the challenge. Hopefully we've got 6 people because if not, we'll have to do something else. I do think we'll have enough though. Maybe once we get this done we can move onto Red Faction: Guerrilla. I've checked a couple of peoples gamercards on TA and it seems like we might have enough to work on this one. That is of course if everyone is interested in doing it.

Not too much else going on as of right now, just waiting to hear back from the mortgage company. (waiting on a mortgage committment) Oh, and trying to make it through the day with my STS (Stuffy head syndrome)

    Until next time...

I've been struggling with this as well. For example, one of the achievements on my list was for the game How To Survive. The achievement is one of the first, if not the first achievement you unlock in the game. However, now that I've learned the game's mechanics, do I continue playing the game? Not only that, but the game is fun! I'm thinking that once I get all the Crackdown orbs, I resume playing How To Survive. Incidentally, it can be played co-op. I know you don't have this game, but it's relatively inexpensive ($14.99 I think). Smile

I think if I had played a game where the levels went quicker I would probably continue working on Alice: Madness Returns. But who knows... I just hate leaving a game that I just got used to only to learn another game.

As for How To Survive, it's doubtful I'd get it. I know this sounds shallow but it's only 400 gamerscore and in my opinion, it's not worth it. I do have the Xbox One version though. Smile
