New Members Introduce Yourself: HyruleBalverine

Post by HyruleBalverine on Sat Nov 19, 2016 1:53 am

As my gamertag would suggest, I'm both a fan of the Legend of Zelda and of Fable. Of course, I like monsters/werewolves too, so the Balverine was a fun choice. I've been gaming on Xbox Live for about 5 years now, give or take, and play a lot of different games, depending on my mood. I'm also weird enough that I've created a few different gamertags just to play games of different categories, such as "ImNotBobBarker" to play game show games or "Libro Curator" to play games based on literature.

Some of you may have seen me around TA, Achievement Hounds, or Gamertag Nation.

Welcome aboard! Historically, we've played a lot of Gears of War, but mostly because that's sort of what pulled us all together. Lately we've taken to picking a game or two per month that most people have and schedule Monday/Friday sessions.

I've finished the first two Gears; I just have a few grindy achievements left for Gears 3 (Seriously 3.0 and the reups in particular). One of these days, I'll go back and finish it. I have Judgement (got it for GWG) but haven't bothered with it or picked up 4. Still frustrated over the Seriously achievements Wink

My main focus right now, when I have time for games, has been South Park: The Stick of Truth on Xbox One, to get myself ready for The Fractured But Whole.

But, my game library is rather sizable and I have many games that I haven't even started yet.

Hey man, welcome to the show! I know we've exchanged messages in the past but it would be certainly good to get something to work on together. We've got a small but friendly and fun group here! The one thing I love about this group is how selfless they all are. I'm sure you'll enjoy gaming with us and I look forward to it. We're about to choose a new game for December so feel free to cast your vote. Smile

Welcome!

I'm a big fan of co-op gaming.  I play a wide variety of games.  I just finished South Park: The Stick of Truth.  It was fun and funny.  I'm currently playing Saints Row: Gat Outta Hell and Valiant Hearts The Great War.

Some of us are working on achievement streaks.  My current streak stands at 529 achievements in 140 days.  We also ha an Annual To Do List Challenge.  The challenge consists of 100 achievements drawn at random from your backlog of games.  You then have a year to complete those achievements.  There are no prizes involved.  It's simply a good way to get us to work on our backlogs.  If you care to participate in either, just let me know.

Welcome to the group.  I look forward to gaming with you!
