Tech's Take...
I have to say, this month feels like it doesn't even warrant a "meh"... like I can't even muster to energy to shrug my shoulders in indifference to the titles.
However, I took a look at the Fighting Robotic Desert Plant game and it actually looks pretty darn slick. It appears to be a 4-player co-op twin-stick shooter with some sweet graphics. No idea what they were thinking when they named it, but despite this shortcoming I may download it and give it a spin.
The Cubic Annihilation game is bizarre. First, you apparently play the role of some sort of sentient cube (not a square, which is 2D), with color depending on how many players. Then you proceed through a series of puzzles, whose sole purpose appears to be inflicting maximum pain (can a sentient box feel?) and dismemberment of the cubes for the slightest misstep. It could be fun, if it evokes a sort of "Portal-esque" vibe, or it could be infuriatingly annoying as many co-op puzzlers can devolve into. Unless someone decides they really want to try it, I may skip this one.
VirtuaL Brawler I have zero interest. Rest in peace, former dangerously sharp polygon fighter game.
Sharded Faction Judgment/Belief... never played 'em, not starting now.
